Getting Started
Navigate to your TalkToMe transaction history page. The tracker sidebar will appear automatically on the right side of the page and begin parsing your transactions.
The first time you load the page the tracker stores everything it finds. On subsequent visits it only adds transactions it hasn't seen before, so your totals build up over time as you collect more history.
Reading the Sidebar
The sidebar shows your earnings broken down by day. Each row shows the date, the number of transactions, and the total earned that day. The Grand Total at the bottom reflects everything stored across all sessions.
- +N new — transactions added from the current page load
- N total stored — all transactions in your local storage
- CSV — opens the export dialog
- Clear — wipes all stored data for a fresh start
- ? — about this extension
- — — minimizes the sidebar to a small tab on the right edge
Auto-Collect
Auto-Collect pages through your transaction history automatically so you don't have to click through manually. Choose a starting point and hit Collect.
- Pg 1 — starts from page 1 (most recent) and works forward through history
- Next — starts from the next page after the current one
- Prev — starts from the previous page before the current one
The Stop on 0 new checkbox will automatically halt collection when a page is reached that contains no new transactions. This is useful for catching up after a gap — it stops once it hits data it has already collected.
Click the Stop button at any time to halt collection and stay on the current page.
Exporting to CSV
Click CSV to open the export dialog. You can export all stored transactions or filter by a specific month or date range.
- All — exports everything in storage
- Month — pick a year and month to export just that month
- Date Range — set a from and to date for a custom range
The exported file includes: Date, Time, Who, Subject, Type, Transaction ID, and Amount. Dates are formatted as YYYY-MM-DD and Transaction IDs are quoted to prevent Excel from misreading them.
Tips
- Re-collect periodically to keep your totals current — the tracker only sees pages you actually visit
- Use Stop on 0 new for regular catch-up runs so collection stops automatically when it hits already-stored data
- If your totals seem off, use Clear and do a full re-collect from Pg 1
- Your data is stored in your browser only — it does not sync across devices or browsers
- Clearing your browser data or reinstalling Chrome will wipe your stored transactions — export to CSV regularly as a backup
